NOTICE: SEVENTEEN, ENHYPEN, & NCT/WayV!

Written by Heaven King | Posted on 26 February 2024

It can always be a blessing or a curse to see “NOTICE” notifications from your favorite groups on the app, Weverse. Let’s take a look at some of the things that were revealed on 23 February 2024.

SEVENTEEN

Leader and oldest member, S. Coups, went on hiatus in August of 2023 due to a torn ACL from playing kickball. Second oldest member, Jeonghan, went on hiatus in December 2023 following ankle pain. After undergoing several surgeries and physical therapy, both members have been cleared to resume activities with SEVENTEEN in March 2024 at “SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ AGAIN TO INCHEON.”

ENHYPEN

BELIFT LAB announced Jay of ENHYPEN is going on hiatus due to not feeling well. In an industry like K-Pop, it is truly essential that idols take care of their health immediately to ensure longevity. We can only hope for a speedy recovery for Jay and that he continues to monitor his health as ENHYPEN is currently on their world tour.

NCT/WayV

In August 2021, allegations from three separate women were revealed about Lucas Wong of WayV and NCT. Due to this, SM Entertainment and Lucas have issued out appologies on his wrongdoings but did not comment any further on the matter. After 21 months of silence, in May 2023, Lucas parted from both WayV and NCT as a whole. From this point on, there was no contact from Lucas other than the occasional vague Instagram post. However, on 23 February 2024, new official accounts appeared for Lucas on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok, as well as a recent photo of his face on his personal Instagram account. Lucas has returned but as a solo artist.

Are you happy or sad about any of these notices? Let’s talk about it! There’s a lot more to unpack about Lucas’s story, so stay tuned for a post dedicated to him.
